She was predeceased by: her parents, Miledge Duncan Martin and Meridith Collins Martin; her husband Henry Phillip Gibson; her son-in-law Terrell Hayne "Terry" Dyches, Jr.; and her siblings, Betty Blume, Roy Martin and Frank Martin.
She is survived by: her daughter Phylis G. Dyches; her granddaughters, Rachel A. Dyches of Tampa, FL and Emily D. Wilson (Ticer) of Opelika, AL; her sister Elaine Whetstone (Billy); her sister-in-law Janie Bell; and her nieces and nephews, Steve Martin (Cynthia), Madonna Moore (Joe), Jayne Johnson (Jim), Ken Martin (Chris), Tracy Blume, Mark Whetstone (Maryann), Caroline Covington, Julie Phillips (Joey), David Bell (Anice) and Terry Bell (Lela).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Double Pond Baptist Church (357 Double Pond Rd, Blackville, SC 29817). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
