Marjada Eileena Thompson Obituary
Marjada E. Thompson, 45, the beloved daughter of the late Ms. Marjorie Salley Ann Louise Thompson, was born on August 12, 1972, in Akron, Ohio.
She united with the Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church of Blackville, South Carolina, where she worshipped and praised the Lord, and served faithfully with the Missionary Ministry (President), the Pulpit Aide Ministry, Program Committee, the Kitchen Ministry and delegate for the Macedonia Missionary Baptist Union. Wherever Christian servility was needed, she was willing and available. She graduated from the Blackville-Hilda High School as a member of the Class of 1991. She continued her education at Denmark Technical College where she studied Business Management and Accounting. She held employment in several capacities throughout her lifetime.
Marjada E. Thompson will forever be remembered for her spirited and bubbly personality. She will also be remembered for her good ole home cooking. It gave her great joy to feed and entertain her family and friends. She had a heart of gold and reached out to others, meeting them in their time of need. She lived life and enjoyed it to the fullest. She loved traveling and spending time with her family. But most importantly, she loved her family and spending quality time and cherishing every moment with them. Her children and grandchildren were the fulfillment and greatest accomplishment in life.
On Saturday, April 14, 2018, the spirited soul of Marjada E. Thompson found peace in eternal rest at the Aiken Regional Medical Center, Aiken, South Carolina. She has lived well and now she rests from her labors.
