He was predeceased by: his parents, Ezbert Jefferson Gibson Sr. and Estelle Irene Smoak Gibson. He is survived by: his wife Norma Hutto Gibson of Blackville; his son Lynn Edward; his daughter-in-law Shirley Gibson Jr.; and his granddaughter Natalie Lynn Gibson of Aiken. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
