It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kitty McCormick of Blackville, South Carolina, who passed away on October 3, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Otis Leroy Sandifer, Sr. and Ineeda Grubbs Sandifer; her spouse Charlie Edward McCormick; her siblings, Betty Sandifer Wetzel, W. A. "Billy" Sandifer, Otis L. Sandifer, Jr., Hammond Sandifer, Frank Sandifer and Rhett Sandifer; and her siblings-in-law, Jackie Sandifer, Annie Margaret Sandifer, LaVonda Sandifer, Joe Collins and Larry Atterholt.
She is survived by: her children, Patty Ann Frost (George), Timothy Leroy McCormick (Katie) and Charles Edward "Ed" McCormick (Deborah); her grandchildren, Charles Edward "Chuck" McCormick, III, Heather Peters (Michael), Kevin Lloyd McCormick (Jill), Katelyn Delk (Ryan), Tori, Wesley Frost and Kristin Frost Sellers (Thomas); her great grandchildren, Kayla, Geoffrey Peters, Madalyn, Alexis McCormick, Hunter, Kinsley Kate Delk, Houston Towne (Bethany), Jared, Lily Kate, Luke Towne, C. J. and Hagin Stancil; her siblings, June Sandifer Atterholt, Linda Sandifer Collins, Patty Sandifer McCormack (Kendall), Jack Sandifer (Jeanette) and Phil Sandifer; and her sisters-in-law, Faye Sandifer, Betty Lee Sandifer, Jenny Sandifer and Polly McCormick Barfield.
