He is survived by: his wife Leona Rose Reid; his children, Carol Mixon of North Augusta, Ruthann Reid of Atlanta, GA, Kimberly Heath (Ricky) of Leesville, Richard Reid (Kim) of Barnwell and Joey Reid (Danielle) of Barnwell; his siblings, Patricia Brant, Brenda Thames (Ray), Sandra Gray, Larry Reid (Dorothy) and Johnnie Reid (Patty); and his sisters-in-law, Ivy Reid and Tonia Reid. He is also survived by grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
