With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jim Harelson of Blackville, South Carolina, born in Sumter, South Carolina, who passed away on February 27, 2024 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter E. Harelson and Mary Clark Harelson; and his brother Billy Harelson. He is survived by: his wife Wanda Gail Black Harelson of Blackville, SC; his daughter Nicole Phillips (Eric) of Waxhaw, NC; his grandchildren, Georgia and Becca Phillips; his daughter Brantley Freeman (Richard) of Lexington, SC; his grandchildren, Katherine Grace, Annalise, Emma and Sophie Freeman; his sister-in-law Katie McCormick (Tim) of Blackville, SC; his nieces, Ashley Harelson, Heather Peters (Michael), Katelyn Delk (Ryan) and Tori; and his nephew Kevin McCormick (Jill). He is also survived by great nieces, nephews, and cousins.
