She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence "Buck" Walker and Lousie May-Walker; her husband Richmond Byas; her son Chatmond; and her siblings, Girlen Greene-Hayes and Phelounis Walker.
She is survived by: her children, Gerald Ann, Beatrice Hicks of Blackville, SC, Wesley Byas, Sr. (Dianne) and Gerlad Ann Creech (Jerry); and her daughter-in-law Cora S. Byas.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Frost Branch Missionary Baptist Church (13621 SC-37, Elko, SC 29826).
