He was predeceased by: his brother Franklin Eugene "Jimmy" Strother, Sr.; his nephew Franklin Eugene "Duck" Strother, Jr.; and his parents, Donely Tillman and Ruby Louise Strother Jeffcoat. He is survived by: his children, Donald Wayne Jeffcoat (Brittany) and April Michelle J. Chamberlain-Gentry (Nevin); his grandchildren, Adelyn Olivia Jeffcoat, Thomas-Tillman Wayne Jeffcoat, Adelyn Jeffcoat and Thomas-Tillman Jeffcoat; his sisters, Becky Jeffcoat Sharpe (Paul Ray), Debra Beach and Elizabeth "Cricket" Ruvo (Tony); and his nieces and nephews, Tommy Strother (Cindy), Mike Strother, Dean Strother, Tracy Jeffcoat (late Tisha), Amanda Mulkins (Tim), Buffie Poole (Philip Sr.) and Donnie.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for memorials to be made to the Wagener-Salley FFA Chapter at 272 Main Street, South Wagener, SC 29164.
