He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Mildred R. Thomas; his children, Donald Clifton Thomas (Beverly) of Orangeburg, SC, John David Thomas (Mary) of Bamberg, SC, Sylvia T. Arnold (Thomas Dale) of Greensboro, NC and Jennifer Hope Thomas of Orangeburg, SC; his daughter-in-law Kathy Thomas of Bamberg, SC; and his son Tony Glen Thomas. He was also cherished by 13 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorial may be made to Calvary Baptist Church of Barnwell.
