With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Edwards of Blackville, South Carolina, who passed away on August 19, 2020 at the age of 85. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Betty Edwards to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Horry Luther Hutto and Hattie Kathryn Miles Hutto; and her siblings, Horry Hutto, Jr., Jack D. Hutto, Sylvian Baxley and Carolyn Lovett.

She is survived by: her husband Reverend Jimmy T. Edwards; her sons, James T. Edwards, Jr. (late Barbara) of Aiken, Michael R. Edwards (Robert Sweeney) of Williston, SC, Stephen Edwards of Barnwell and Barry Edwards (Stacey) of Columbia; her brothers, Terry Hutto (Jean) and Dennis Hutto (Christine); and her grandchildren, Lisa Hutto (Jason), Laura Crosby (Craig) of Uxbridge, MA, Barry Edwards, Jr. of Blackville, SC, Nikki Hanna of Hemingway, SC, Justin Edwards of Barnwell, SC, Connor Edwards of Myrtle Beach, SC and Danielle Thorn of Fayetteville, AK. She is also survived by 13 great grandchildren.

Due to the current pandemic and the CDC regulations, social distancing and other guidelines will be in place.
