He was predeceased by: his parents, Ethel Aiken McKeown and Thomas Chisolm McKeown; and his wife Elizabeth "Betsy" McGowan McKeown. He is survived by: his stepson Robert Lawson; his daughter-in-law Wendy Lawson; and his grandchildren, Nora-Ashley Lawson of Chester and Brandon Lawson of Chester.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hopewell Arp Church (1341 Hopewell Church Rd, Blackstock, SC 29014). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at the Hopewell A. R. P. Church Cemetery (1391 Hopewell Church Rd, Blackstock, SC 29014).
