With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Peggy Adell Young Boyd of Blackstock, South Carolina, born in Chester, South Carolina, who passed away on June 22, 2023 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Young and Bernice Gibson Young; her grandson Andrew Bellue; and her siblings, Robert Young, Rosanna McKinsey and Marylou Sanders.
She is survived by: her husband George B. Boyd; her children, Kathryn Bellue (Ricky) of Blackstock, SC and Michael Boyd (Tayna) of Chester, SC; and her siblings, Pauline Smith of Charlotte, NC, Ellen Watson of Charlotte, NC, Carol Campbell (Banks) of Jefferson, SC, Jane Hughes of Simpsonville, SC and Wylie Young (Linda) of Great Falls, SC. She is also survived by six grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
