He was predeceased by: his parents, Edith Shirley Varnadore and Otis D. "Skip" Varnadore; his daughters, Patricia Roof and Melissa Cope; his granddaughter Amanda Roof; and his brothers, Otis, Johnny and Donnie Varnadore.
He is survived by: his children, Jimmy Varnadore (Dodie), Melba Mathews (Eddie) of Chester and Julie Green of Chester; his sisters, Margaret Owens of Chester and Janice Owens of Chester; and his grandchildren, Jamie, Justin, Dustin Varnadore, Eric Roof, Todd, Lee Mathews, Allen, Michael Green, Kurstin Haynes and Morgan Cope. He is also survived by 24 great-grand-children and numerous nieces and nephews.
