She was predeceased by: her parents, Gus Hartsoe and Cora Gladden; her husband Junior Hartsoe; her son Michael Hartsoe; her siblings, Gus Hartsoe Jr., Martha Dobbins, Betty Sessoms, Sue Phillips and Linda Beaver; her niece Bennie Sue Beam; her granddaughter Kisha Watts; and her great grandchild Alexis.
She is survived by: her children, Kim Cobb (Wesley) of Shelby, NC, Kelly Watts (Dennis) of Graham, NC, Keith Smith of Blacksburg, SC, Jamey Smith (Kim) of Blacksburg, SC and Lisa Kirby of Blacksburg, SC.. She is also survived by her many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
