As we bid Ruth Gallman farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Ruth Gallman is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her husband Ralph D. Collins; her parents, John Gallman and Lottie McFarland Gallman; her son Ronnie Collins; and her grandson Clay Collins.
She is survived by: her sons, Bobby Collins and David Collins (Brenda); and her grandchildren, Kristin Collins, Bobby Collins Jr. (Dawn), Richie McDonald (Angie), Candice Moore and Misty Collins. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren, and eleven great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Gordon Mortuary (400 W Cherokee St, Blacksburg, SC 29702). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Gordon Mortuary Chapel (400 W Cherokee St, Blacksburg, SC 29702).
