It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Randy Beam of Blacksburg, South Carolina, born in Shelby, North Carolina, who passed away on July 1, 2021, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Broadus Oates Beam and Irene Norman Beam of Blacksburg, SC.; and his siblings, Donnie Beam of Fountain Inn, SC and Terry Beam. He is survived by: his wife Jill Collins Beam of Blacksburg, SC; his brother Jerry; his children, Kellan Clark Beam (Brianna) of Seabrook, SC, Mollie Beam Dixon (Michael) and Alice Anne Beam (Matt Evans) of Blacksburg, SC; his grandchildren, Madison, Mason and Miles Dixon; his siblings, Chris, Janie Allen, Dennis, Jenny Stroupe, Frankie, Joy Thayer, Julie Atkinson, Libby Beam, Jeff Roberts and Josh Gore; his cousins, Sammy, Julia Nichols of Kings Mountain, NC, Tim, Lynn McCraw Rowland of Grover, NC and Eddie McCraw; his friend Bud Killian; and his close friend Tracy McDaniel. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
