He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Judy Gail Ragstole Eaker; his parents, Leland Welchel Eaker and Doris Sutton Eaker; his stepmother Alma "Nanny" Eaker of Blacksburg; his children, Kevin Michael Eaker of Gaffney, Amy Jean Henry (Michael) of Cowpens, Tracy Bernard (Michael) of Inman, Jennifer Lee Benton of Gaffney, Jamie Marie Walls (Allen) of Gaffney and Kristie Opal Barnhill of Gaffney; and his stepsisters, Sylvia Vassey of Shelby, NC, Linda Deshields (Carson) of Lyman and Nancy Greer of Blacksburg. He was also cherished by fifteen grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
