He is survived by: his daughters, Ashley Nicole Ray (Charlie Lyles) of Blacksburg, Hannah Ray of Blacksburg and Elizabeth Gilfillan of Blacksburg; his grandchildren, Brianna Ray and Zachary Ray; and his siblings, Tommy Ray, Rock Hill, Johnny Ray, Pratt Ray of Belmont, NC, Marie Tesika of Shelby, NC, Betty Chason of Shelby, NC, Sharon of Shelby, NC, Terry Conner of Shelby, NC, Anne Grigg of Shelby, NC, Augusta Webster of Kings Mountain, NC and Mary Allen of Shelby.
