It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret JoAnn Patterson (Blacksburg, South Carolina), who passed away on February 25, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband William L. "Bill" Patterson; her parents, Eli Brown and Novella Harris Brown; and her brothers, John and Ed Brown.
She is survived by: her sons, Rick Patterson (Malinda) of Gaffney, Scott Patterson (Karen) of Blacksburg and Mike Patterson (Lori) of Blacksburg; her siblings, J. D., Larry Brown, Louise Byars, Linda Wilson and Helen Martin; her grandchildren, Scottie Patterson Jr., Caleb Tyler Patterson, Cody Patterson and Wesley Patterson; her great grandchild Jace Patterson; and her close friends, Lamonda McDowell, Julia Thompson, Marvette Esterling and Carolyn Strait.
