With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Marci Jones-Rios of Blacksburg, South Carolina, born in Leominster, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 13, 2024 at the age of 72. Though Marci may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Marci touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. She was predeceased by: her parents, Mitchell W. Jones and Ruth Thrasher Jones; and her brother Alan M. Jones. She is survived by: her daughters, Shannon Hurley of Memphis, TN, April Gambrell of Greer and Angela Rimmer of Bessemer City, NC; and her sisters, Judith Beck of York and Susan Jordan of Massachusetts. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
