She was predeceased by: her parents, Curtis McKinley Martin Sr. and Rebecca Lee Moss Martin; and her grandparents, J. D., Ellen Moss, Covis and Mae Martin.
She is survived by: her husband Elbert Steward; her children, Stephanie Martin (Robert), Jama Taylor and Steve Byars; her grandchildren, Cassidy Martin, Dakota Martin, Mollee Bagwell, Jordan Taylor, Melanie Byars and Cheyanne Byars; and her siblings, Rick Martin, Curtis Martin Jr., Renee Ettlemyer and Cheryl Coffey.
