He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Gordon Williams Sr. and Barbara Tripp Williams; and his son Richard Bromm. He is survived by: his wife Merry Atkinson Williams; his children, Leo G. Williams III of Blacksburg, Regina Williams of Blacksburg, Tracia A. Barnett (Randy) of Blacksburg, April Strickland (Marty) of Middleton, CT, Jessica Bromm of Connecticut and Tracey Houle (Christopher) of Blacksburg; and his sister Terry Williams of Union, SC. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.
