He was predeceased by: his father Brice Childers; and his siblings, Tommy Childers, Doug Childers and Margaret Childers. He is survived by: his wife Janet Smith Childers; his children, Matthew Childers (Sheri), Cara Childers, Darvi Childers, Dakota Childers, Garan Childers and Mace Childers; his granddaughter Madison Childers; and his sister Barbara Childers. He is also survived by several nephews and cousins.
