He is survived by: his sons, Kenneth Anthony Butler of Blacksburg and Jeffrey Lane Butler (Kathy) of Blacksburg; his grandchildren, Matthew Butler of Shelby, NC, Joshua Butler of Blacksburg, Savannah Butler of York and Kayleigh Butler of Gaffney; and his siblings, William "Billy" Butler of Blacksburg, Louise Sparks of Blacksburg and JoAnne Butler of Gaffney. He is also survived by three nieces, and four nephews.
