He is survived by: his parents, Ernest "Ernie" of Blacksburg and Jo Ann White Hardin of Blacksburg; his son Ernest Jason Hardin, Jr.; his brother Wade Hardin (Trebbi) of Gaffney, SC; and also, Ali Hardin and Molli Hardin.
