It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Combs (Blacksburg, South Carolina), born in Bluefield, West Virginia, who passed away on February 27, 2020, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul James Combs and Mary Rye Tyree. He is survived by: his wife Diane Dawson Combs; his children, Stacey Combs of Blacksburg, Charlotte Aker of Bluefield, WV and Melissa Walker (Chris) of Marion, VA; and his grandchildren, Brock Combs, Harley Combs, Adam Pizzini, Cristine Pizzini Aker and Anthony Pizzini. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren; his best friend.
