He was predeceased by: his parents, Scott Armstrong Sr. and Rosa Smith Armstrong; and his sister Rosa Marie Armstrong. He is survived by: his sons, Damari Smith of Spartanburg and Clinton Rodgers (Jeanette) of Spartanburg; his siblings, Scottie Armstrong Jr. of Shelby, Willie Smith (Doris) of Gaffney, Sara Jackson of Cowpens, Wanda Armstrong of Spartanburg and Ella Colston of Gaffney; and his grandsons, Isiah and Elijah Smith.
