He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, George Aaron Caldwell and Ozora Lockhart Caldwell; his siblings, Charles Lockhart and Rosalee Caldwell Muckle; his parents-in-law, William and Dorothy Brown; his sister-in-law Elaine Brown; his wife Dorothy Louise Caldwell; his children, Ernest Vincent Caldwell (Wanda) of Durham, Wesley Bernard Caldwell of Charlotte, Marvin Sylvester Harris (Anitra) of Meriden, Michael Terrell Caldwell (Ericka) of Windsor, CT, Ernie Caldwell of Waterbury, Connecticut and Ernestine Loretta Caldwell of Middletown, Connecticut; his siblings, George Caldwell, Jr. of North Carolina, Pamela Ann Caldwell Littlejohn and Juanita Caldwell of Maple Hill; and his siblings-in-law, Charles Brown (Denise), Kenny Brown, William Brown, Robert Brown, Patricia Cooper (Henry) and Betty Alexander. He was also cherished by nieces and nephews and other family members.
