He is survived by: his children, Daniel Spearman (Angelina) of Greenville, SC, Samantha Hawthorne of Gastonia, NC and Dakota Spearman; and his sisters, Judy Spearman Painter and Tena Spearman Mullinax of Blacksburg, SC.. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren.
