She was predeceased by: her husband Steve Wells; her parents, William Dover and Martha Boheler Dover; and her sisters, Janice White and Sue Walker.

She is survived by: her children, Shirley Jackson (Terry), Johnny Wyatt (Jodi), Melisa Bailey and Steve Wells; her siblings, Bill Dover and Shirley White; her grandchildren, Adam Bailey, Jessica Wyatt, Jennifer Wyatt, Meagan Wheeler, Leann Swofford, Jewel Wells, Jonathan Duncan and Zack Wells; and her great grandchildren, Julie, Jaylee and Wyatt Carroll.

Visitation was held on Sunday, May 19th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Gordon Mortuary (400 W Cherokee St, Blacksburg, SC 29702). A funeral service was held on Monday, May 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Rapture Ready Church (5144 Black Hwy, Blacksburg, SC 29702). A reception will be held on Monday, May 19th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Gordon Mortuary (400 W Cherokee St, Blacksburg, SC 29702).
