She was predeceased by: her spouse Whitney Warren Ross, Sr.; her parents, Calvin Jack Guthrie, Sr. and Daisy Northey Guthrie; her siblings, Vivian Turner, Othella Smalley, Mabel Phillips, Juanita Harris, Jack Guthrie, Jr. and Ralph Guthrie; her daughter-in-law Judy Ross; and her grandsons, Jake Ross, Jr. and Calvin Ross, Jr..
She is survived by: her sons, Jake Ross, Sr. (Anita), James "Jimmy" Calvin Ross (Lorie), Whitney Ross, Jr., Larry Joe Ross (Anne) and Blacksburg. She is also survived by five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two step great-grandchildren; one step great-great-grandchild.
