He was predeceased by: his parents, Burl Reading and Esther Nelson Reading. He is survived by: his wife Opal Clawson Reading; and his children, Jess Reading (Teresa) and Jalayne R. Setzer (Tim) of Blacksburg, SC. He is also survived by six grandchildren; and twelve great grandchildren.
