He was predeceased by: his wife Shelia Blakley Jacobsen; his parents, Burr Jacobsen and Marion Catherine Franklin Jacobsen; and his brothers, Arnold Jacobsen and Richard Jacobsen.
He is survived by: his sister Linda Amidon (Ernie) of Gardner, Massachusetts; and his close friends, Ken and Tina Evans of Blacksburg.
