She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence "L. C." Warmoth and Mildred Whisonant Warmoth; and her brother Lawrence E. Warmoth. She is survived by: her husband Vincent Tharpe; her sons, Scott Tharpe (Jean) of Boiling Springs, SC and Brant Tharpe (Karen) of Blacksburg; her sister Connie Warmoth Cudd (Brian) of Earl, NC; her grandchildren, Blake Tharpe (Ashton), Taylor Tharpe and McKenzie Miller (Garrett); and her nieces and nephews, Meredith Lawhorne of Virginia, Alyssa Lawhorne (Alex Sams) of Virginia, David Warmoth of Gaffney and Chris Warmoth (Theresa) of Gaffney.
Visitation was held on Sunday, October 20th 2024 from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (121 W Cherokee St, Blacksburg, SC 29702). A funeral service was held on Sunday, October 20th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
