She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul James and Omia Yelton Hamrick; her son Edward Hamrick; and her siblings, Johnny David Hamrick, Charles James Hamrick and Lillie Ann Martin.
She is survived by: her sons, Marvin Childers and William Lee Hamrick; her brother William Hamrick (Sue) of Blacksburg; and also, Patricia Childers of Gaffney and Janice Childers of Blacksburg.
