She was predeceased by: her husband Gordon Whiten; her parent Ola Victoria Blackwell; her son Francis Marion Whiten; her brother Jerry Wayne Blackwell; and her half-sister Ruby Wheeler.
She is survived by: her sons, Arthur Ray Whiten (Vicki) and Kelly Ray Whiten (Lorie); her stepson Norman Douglas Whiten; her half-siblings, Naaman Jackson Dover and Sherry Diane Dover; her grandson Robert Douglas Whiten; her stepgrandson Hayden; and her friends, Amanda Richards and Maddie Caldwell.
