She was predeceased by: her parent Clyde William Lanning; and her brothers, James, Harry and Grady Lanning. She is survived by: her parent Ruth Amanda Moore Lanning; her children, Freddie Dover of Gaffney, Billie Lynn Crocker of Fingerville and Lori Jean Byars of Blacksburg; and her siblings, Doyle Lanning, Earl Lanning, Betty Floyd and Sondra Anderson. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
