She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Helms; her parents, Joseph Cash and Edna Thompson Cash; her former husband Frank McDaniel; her son Charles Leonard McDaniel; and her siblings, Elward Long, Elanor Mitchell, Nell C. Denton, Ruth C. Hamilton, J. D. Cash Jr., Paul Curtis Cash, Lloyd J. Cash, Harry E. Cash and Leon D. Cash.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sandra White (Roger) and Sherrie McDaniel Moore; and her grandchildren, Stephania Williams (Rodney), Wendy Parris (Danny), Allen Moore and Amy Moore Elder.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Gordon Mortuary (400 W Cherokee St, Blacksburg, SC 29702). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at 3:30 PM at the Clingman Memorial Gardens (1219 E Cherokee St, Blacksburg, SC 29702).
