He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie James and Ada Belle Frierson; and his brothers, James Ray Frierson and Larry Frierson. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Franklin Frierson; his children, Kevin Robinson, Derrick Stuckey (Gloria), Sterling Frierson, William Gerard Frierson (Brittany), Trellis Frierson and Patrice Frierson; and his siblings, Omega Wilson (Karen), Willis "Benji" Frierson and Dr. Vanessa Bradley (Leslie).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the Norton Funeral Home and Crematory - Bishopville (425 N Main St, Bishopville, SC 29010). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Cousar Memorial Presbyterian Church (713 W Church St, Bishopville, SC 29010). A burial was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the St. John Cemetery.
