It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sylvia Prosser Stokes (Bishopville, South Carolina), born in Lake City, South Carolina, who passed away on July 3, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Luther McDonald Prosser and Bessie Rodgers Prosser; her husband Olin Laverne Stokes; and her siblings, Joseph Franklin Prosser (Bobby), Willie Joe Prosser, Kathleen Prosser, Fanny Rose Browder and Dolly Foxworth.
She is survived by: her children, Cissy Price (Jerry) of Bishopville and Terry Stokes; her grandchildren, Dillon Price, Katie Stropes and Regina Tidwell; her great grandchildren, Addison Tidwell, David Tidwell and Patrick Stokes; and her sisters, Bessie Yates and Violet McKenzie.
