He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Jefferson and Eula Andrews Garrett; his son Rod Garrett; and his sister Judy Sylvester. He is survived by: his wife Roberta Gilloth Garrett; his children, Tanner Garrett (Ashleigh) and Tara Elvis (Clay); his grandchildren, Spencer Elvis, Vanna Elvis, Callie Garrett and Bradley Garrett; and his brother Thomas Garrett (Sarah).
