He is survived by: his wife Maria Wetmore; his children, Rebecca Wetmore (Ralph), Regina Wetmore, Richard Wetmore, III (Michelle), Joseph Aaron Wetmore and Michelle Leigh Wetmore Penny (Asim); and his brother Don Wetmore.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Lucknow Baptist Church (899 Hubb Kelley Rd, Bishopville, SC 29010). Visitation was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
