He was predeceased by: his parents, Wade H. Hucks and Florence Britt Hucks; his son Joe Rhodes; and his siblings, Sonny Hucks, Ezell Hucks and Elizabeth Ward.
He is survived by: his wife Sara Gowdwin; his son Ricky Hucks (Sandra); his siblings, Bill Hucks (Bobbie), Rose Sims, Betty Mitchell (Bill) and Jean Hardin (Jerry); and his grandsons, Michael Hucks, Ricky Hucks Jr. and William Jones.
