He is survived by: his wife Rosa Mae Goodson; his children, Rozenia Clavon (Nathaniel) of Forest, VA, Betty Gowins (Samuel) of Bishopville, SC, Gwendolyn Brown (William) of Knightdale, NC, Jasper Eugene Hickman of Bishopville, SC, Edward Hickman of Bishopville, SC, Willie Hickman (Kim) of Bishopville, SC and Antonio Hickman (Lisa) of Bishopville, SC; his goddaughter Mary Alice Coe of Richmond, VA; and his sisters, Ruth Coe of Darlington, SC, Ruby Goodson of Darlington, SC, Hannah Williams (Ned) of Darlington, SC and Jannie Dixon of Darlington, SC. He is also survived by twenty grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
