He is survived by: his wife Ruby Scott; his children, Michael (Vivian) of Bishopville and Vermell Hewlett of Baltimore, Maryland; his grandchildren, Jonathan Henry Sr. (Bridgette), Travis Peterson, Brandon Wilson, Chauncey Simon, Tameka (James) and Tamara Henry; his sisters-in-law, Doretha Fortune, Lucy Anderson and Lillian Green; and also Vermell.
In accord with the COVID 19 guidelines, the family is requesting that face masks and social distancing be observed by relatives and friends during visitation at the home, 1667 Freedom Avenue, Sumter.
