It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lola Legay Elmore (Bishopville, South Carolina), born in Alcolu, South Carolina, who passed away on May 7, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Woody Elmore; her parents, Alan Richburg and Alee Cutter Richburg; her son Joey Catoe; and her siblings, Arnold Richburg and Patsy Eady.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sheila Catoe Smith (Billy) of Bishopville, SC and Tammy Catoe Atkinson (Benje) of McBee, SC; her grandchildren, Laci Tobens (Craig), B. J. Smith, Kolby Atkinson, Kimberly Rivers (Jay) and Kayla McKnight (Chase); and her sisters, Gail Richburg and Donna Martin (Norman). She is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren.
