He is survived by: his mother Pearl Mathis Phillips; his children, Kelly Bowers (Ryan) and James Wendell Moore, Jr.; his siblings, Bruce (Dawn White), Tony Moore, Lynette McElveen (Keith) and Charlene Moore; and his grandchildren, Whitney and Allie Bowers.
