With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Tillman Smith III (Bishopville, South Carolina), born in Hartsville, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 13, 2024 at the age of 82. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Tillman Smith and Mildred Mozingo Smith; and his sister Beverly Smith Hough. He is survived by: his wife Suzanne McCutchen Smith of Bishopville, SC; his children, James "Tillman" Smith IV (Barbie), Susan Robinson (Thom) and Jennifer Floyd (Leo); his grandchildren, Conner Floyd (Joleah), Zachary Smith, Cody Floyd and Taylor Smith; his great grandchild Maelyn Floyd; and his sister Diane Smith Hearon.
