As James Macon departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved James Macon. Though James Macon may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Macon Coley Sr. and Ruby Edna Staton Coley. He is survived by: his children, Patricia Hayes (James), Michael Coley (Donna) and Elaine Coley. He is also survived by four grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Hancock-Elmore-Hill Funeral Home (200 W Church St, Bishopville, SC 29010). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
