Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved James Livingston Dozier Jr. (Bishopville, South Carolina), who passed away at the age of 80, on July 2, 2022. He was predeceased by: his daughter Joy D. O'Kelley. He is survived by: his wife Inda Dozier; his daughter Traci D. Waite (John) of Columbia; his sister Gail D. Geddings (Warren) of Charlotte; his son-in-law Arthur O'Kelley (English) of Beaufort; and his grandchildren, Jackson Filer Waite, Virginia Rose O'Kelley, Caroline Hines O'Kelley and Margaret Palmer Waite.

After receiving an award from The National Science Foundation he attended Middle Tennessee State University earning a Master's Degree in Math and Science in 1973.
